Under the authority of the Director, Capital Governance and Investments, the Advisor, financial planning has the responsibility to:
• Prepare the financial documents to communicate to our shareholder, Transport Canada, including the financial tables of the Corporate plan, the quarterly financial results and the integrated financial plans (OPEX & CAPEX).
• Monitor the approved or requested financing according to the appropriation acts, while being involved, if necessary, in the financing negotiations with the government.
• Answer to the finance-related questions and requests of our shareholder and Central Agencies (Finance Canada. Treasury Board Secretariat).
• Elaborate and propose working methods to track financial benefits of the projects.
• Analyze and quantify financial impacts of business cases related to the strategic projects of the organization.
• Design, when required, financial models to support strategic initiatives of the organization.
Requirements :
• Bachelor of Administration or equivalent relevant experience.
• CPA or CFA is an asset.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in financial analysis, internal or financial audit or preparation of financial statements.

Competencies :
• Based out of Montreal and Bilingual
• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in similar positions (financial analysis, internal or financial audit, preparation of financial statements, financial modeling (asset))
• Must have a strategic thinking mindset
• Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and have an eye for detail.
• Is a natural leader
• Be a team player and favor team work
• Be result-oriented, while delivering high quality work
• Be well structured, organized and autonomous and show a great level of initiative
• Able to build meaningful interpersonal relationships and to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of the government sector is an asset
